Especially, the hope for the fortune has been formed as props in various ways.
As a part of the ‘Fortune project’ which reinterpret the objects that were the symbol of good fortune, we present the ‘OIMU Scroll poster’.

‘The ten symbols of longevity’ is a peculiar Korean painting that includes ten symbols of eternal youth and filled with mind praying for health and long life and utopia.
The origin of ‘The ten symbols of longevity’ dates back to the end of the Goryeo Dynasty. It is a symbolism of over ten objects which has been believed to be manage long life.
It is composed of ten symbols of longevity, the sun, the mountain, the cloud, the water, a crane, a turtle, a pine tree, a deer and ganoderma and etc.
After offset printing is done on Korean paper, hot foil stamping method is applied to the poster twice using large metallographs.
Korean paper was used to produce OIMU Scroll Poster and it was made of paper mulberry bark.
OIMU Scroll Poster presents the beauty of Korean paper in modern way.
In addition, by enhancing durability and printability of Korean paper its value and dignity can be improved.
OIMU Scroll Poster is produced by applying ‘Baecheop’, a traditional processing method for paintings and calligraphic works, which improves practicality and the ability to preserve.
‘Baecheop’ is a processing method for paintings and calligraphic works to produce scroll, frame and folding screen
by decorating paintings with paper or silk and attaching woods and other ornaments.
Scroll poster is finished by pasting glue that is made of flour and water to paper and silk, is strong and shrink less even time goes by.
‘Baecheop’ is completed by after three times of attachment and dry process. And then attach cylinder-shaped wood to the upper and lower side of poster.
OIMU Scroll Poster is provided in exclusive cylinder-shaped paper for easy storage and portablilty.

Since hot foil stamping method is applied to Korean paper, texture might be partly quite rough.
It is natural phenomenon of fiber of Korean paper so that it is not defective goods.
When using scroll poster for the first time or using it in too dry condition, poster can be bended a little for a while.
When you take out the scroll at first, please roll it in reverse once and unroll.
Otherwise, if you hang it on the wall for a few days, paper and silk spread naturally by matching their appropriate humidity.
Therefore, these kind of temporary bending condition are not defective.
